Parent Information

Parents, please read below for answers to some common questions. You can always contact us at info@aesopkids.org if you need more information.

Q: When can I apply for a scholarship?

A: Anytime, we accept and review applications all year round.

Q: When do you accept applications for the next upcoming school year?

A: You can apply for the following school year starting on January 1st of the current year.

Q: Why do you require household income information?

A: First, it’s required by Arizona law. Second, it may expand your scholarship eligibility.

Q: What members of my household must disclose income information?

A: Everyone must be listed, even if that individual’s annual income is $0 (like students and young children).

Q: What do you mean by “expanded scholarship eligibility?”

A: Some students meet particular prerequisites set by the state for additional sources of scholarship funding.

Q: Why do I need to supply a verification form?

A: In order for AESOP to make an award based on potential expanded eligibility, we must first verify that eligibility exists.

Q: My student received an STO scholarship in a prior school year, can I upload that award letter as verification?

A: Yes, any document that originates from the awarding STO and confirms a prior year award can be provided.

Q: What if my situation or information changes after I submit an application?

A: Simply log back in to your parent dashboard with the same email address and password you originally created and update anything that has changed.

Q: How will I find out if my student has been awarded a scholarship?

A: Once your application is complete (and all your verification forms are uploaded), we conduct our review and work with your school as required by Arizona law. If your student is selected for an award, you will be notified of the details at the email address you provided.
